As UC Davis works to spin out more start-up companies and the city of Davis mulls how best to keep them here, a new nonprofit organization aims to help both succeed....
We will be hosting our ribbon cutting and open house ceremony at our new home in Hunt-Boyer Mansion, 604 Second Street, in downtown Davis on Monday, April 30 at 5 p.m. We'll also be introducing the first two companies selected for the program.
Planned speakers include Yolo County Supervisor Don Saylor, Davis Mayor Joe Krovoza, and UC Davis Chancellor Linda Katehi.
Davis Roots is a non-profit start-up business accelerator with the shared goal of fostering the formation and early development of new high-growth ventures.
